God sent His perfect son, Jesus, into the darkness of this world. Jesus came as a little baby, born miraculously to a humble virgin. Jesus did not come to set mankind free in a political or physical sense. He came to set man free from the power and curse of sin and the eternal separation from God. The name Jesus means “the LORD saves” and that is what He did.
