Has anyone ever proposed something to you? Maybe it was in a formal letter, or perhaps a verbal offer? Think of the Bible as God’s proposal to you. Have you read it? Will you listen to what He has to say? In the end, God’s greatest proposal is what has become known as “The Great Exchange.” You exchange your sin for Jesus’ righteousness through belief in Him.

Only God can accurately and specifically tell the future. The Bible contains roughly 2,500 prophecies (foretelling the future) and of those prophecies, 2,000 have already been fulfilled down to the smallest detail! There is no comparison when it comes to the trustworthiness of God’s inspired Word!

There is great power when followers of Jesus come together to pray in His Name. If you don’t yet have a community to pray with, stop and ask God for one. He knows you need other Christians to help you grow. He will be faithful to bring those people into your life, as you trust Him to do so. Who can you begin to pray with even this week?

What is the best way to love someone who does not know Jesus? Pray for them! The Father’s love is deeper than oceans. He longs for each of His children to be cleansed of their sin through faith in His Son. Ask God to open the eyes of the unbelievers in your life! Pray for them often, and never give up hope for them to place their faith in Jesus Christ!

We are always wise to pray the words of Scripture. In the Old Testament the Lord taught Moses how to pray a blessing. It went like this: "The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace." Pray this for your loved ones today mentioning each by name.

Streams of living water now flow from your life. In prayer, behold the purity of the Lord. Ask Him to purify you through and through as you trust in Him today.

Are you easily offended? Do you feel unusually upset when another person wrongs you? If so, then you may not quite understand the gospel. The good news of Jesus sets us free from this trap. Being a Christian is to embrace your own brokenness and acknowledge that your ONLY hope is in Jesus Christ. Enjoying God’s forgiveness implies that we will forgive others.

Anger often emerges from our selfish and prideful hearts. We lash out with poisonous words that cut others down and cause great pain. Satan often uses anger and jealousy to cause hatred and division. Will you repent of your unrighteous anger today? Ask Jesus for a patient heart today. Realize how much you have been forgiven, and be quick to forgive others.
