There is a big difference between what we WANT and what we actually NEED.  God is perfectly wise; He gives us what we need and in doing so shows us His faithfulness. God is completely faithful, wise, and true. Even when we lack faith, God remains faithful. Whatever you are facing today, trust God to be who He says He is: THE LORD IS FAITHFUL!
