夜空を見あげれば、煌々と輝く月がひとつ。

秋分の頃は、古くから月を愛でるのに最適だとされています。

 

十三夜、小望月（こもちづき）、十五夜、十六夜（いざよい）、

立待月（たちまちづき）、居待月（いまちづき）、

寝待月（ねまちづき）、更待月（ふけまちづき）

 

これらは全て、満月の前後にあたる一夜一夜の月を称した名前です。

日本人が古来、自然と共に暮らし、美しい月を愛でてきたことがよく分かりますね。

 

月に見立てた氷に「響17年」を注ぎ入れて…

Hibiki and 24 Seasons: The Long Autumnal Nights of Shubun

 

At night, the moon now shines bright and clear.

 

Shubun is the point in the traditional Japanese calendar of 24 seasons that marks the autumnal equinox. 

 

The Japanese have lived close to nature since ancient times, a relationship from which arose a deep affection for the moon. In Japan, the nights before and after a full moon have special names, showing how people cherish the experience of gazing at the moon.

 

Prepare an ice sphere that looks like the moon and place it in a glass. Pour in some Hibiki 17 Years Old and delight in the long autumnal nights of this season.
